About Me
Hey everyone, my name is Sarah and I live near the beautiful mountains of Southeast Tennessee! I live here with my favorite guy and our three wonderful children Alexis, Micah, and Piper! I work as a freelance writer and being a great mommy!
Today is the one year anniversary of Micah's Autism diagnosis and Piper is currently going through the early intervention system with being "At Risk" for ASD's. My family and I are doing everything we can to help them, but its time to kick things up a notch or two! So I am here to learn about biomedical treatments and to help other mama's and daddy's along the way, as I learn.
I have helped a few close friends that have children on the spectrum with their relationships using advice. As for other accomplishments, its being a great parent to all 3 of my kiddos.
That one day my kids will get to do all of the normal things in life without the need or desire to self injure themselves or someone else. It would also be great to see them speak and to be able to have friends and not deal with the crap that is thrown their way from those who don't get it. Seeing them happy and healthy is important too!
I can help in a number of ways by listening and giving advice as I learn more about treatment. Though the diagnosis was a year ago, I am still new to treatments that do not involve intensive therapy. I have been successful in keeping my relationship with their dad in check, and can help with ways for you and your spouse to work together as a team. I will be more than happy to answer any questions about biomedical treatments as I learn how to use them. Its the whole pay it forward way of thinking!

Let me extend to you my personal welcome to our AutismOne Social Network. AutismOne is now the “one-stop-shopping center” for information about autism. We have the annual conference in Chicago, AutismOne radio, the Elizabeth Birt Center for Autism Law and Advocacy and now the AutismOne Social Network (and more to come).
Thank you for filling in your profile entries as these help people with common interests find you.
Helping you interact with others is one of the many things we can do for you. Now here’s something you can do for us. Log in on a regular basis and read the blogs and articles then write a blog yourself. It can be on any subject of interest to you, preferably with some relevance to autism but not necessarily. It can be short or long, whatever it takes for you to express your thoughts. If you have a question then ask it in a blog--people read then they respond. If you see something with which you agree or disagree then please add a comment with your thoughts. This is an open community designed to help and support. We like to hear all sides.
I am looking forward to reading your opinions in future blogs and/or articles.
With my best regards
Will Price, CFO
