U.S. Supreme Court schedules Bruesewitz v. Wyeth
The United States Supreme Court has scheduled the matter of Bruesewitz v. Wyeth for Tuesday, October 12, 2010.
The case is presently scheduled for the morning. We cannot guarantee entrance, as seating is limited, but we would like to support a large turnout.
After the oral argument, there will be a gathering to discuss the case. Please save the date as further information will be forthcoming regarding the details of the gathering.

An Illinois couple had their child put in protective custody after they delivered her at home against hospital advice. Over a month later, they are still fighting to get her home.

Pertussis Infection in Fully Vaccinated Children in Day-Care Centers, Israel
From a study on CDC’s website. Opening paragraph of the conclusion:
The effects of whole-cell pertussis vaccine wane after 5 to 10 years, and infection in a vaccinated person causes nonspecific symptoms (3-7). Vaccinated adolescents and adults may serve as reservoirs for silent infection and become potential transmitters to unprotected infants (3-11). The whole-cell vaccine for pertussis is protective only against clinical disease, not against infection (15-17). Therefore, even young, recently vaccinated children may serve as reservoirs and potential transmitters of infection.
